Photographer in Vietnam – Bac Ha Tribal market.
Bac Ha Tribal Market, which held on sunday weekly, is one of my favorite location for street photography.
The majority of people in the market here are flowers H’mong. But you can always spot black and blue H’mong around the market along with other mountain tribes.
Visitors who get to town early can see gangs of buffaloes on the way to the market. From the entrance, there is colorful section that sells traditional clothe. Local tribes also sell chickens, pigs, and especially dogs; including puppies and big ones.
There is another part that sells herbal products and vegetables. You can even find Danggui (当归) in this market.
And there is one dish, horse meat and internal organs, is Bac Ha speciality. And if you have a chance to visit this market, take your chance to try Bac Ha Pho. It’s delicious.
Hope you will enjoy this album. If you have any questions about Bac Ha market, please let me know.
I offer Vietnam Photo Tours for photographers who love to explore Vietnam with their Camera. I also provide Fixing Service in Vietnam. If you like this market and want to film it and looking for a Fixer in Vietnam, please let me know.
I hope you enjoy these photos.
