This was a 3 days Mekong Photo Tour exploring the Mekong with my customers. Picked him up in Ho Chi Minh City, then we drove to Can Tho City which takes around 3 hours. Then we took a boat trip exploring Can Tho floating market and shooting around. After that, we visited a noodle factory in Can Tho City.
Our destinations inlcudes: Can Tho, Bac Lieu, Chau Doc. In Can Tho, we just spent a few hours shooting the floating market. My customer was from the US and mainly focus on shooting local life along the river. So I suggested him to visit the floating market in Can Tho, then Nga Nam floating market the next day, and then visit Chau Doc.
We choose to stay in Bac Lieu because it’s close to Nga Nam floating market. After that, we connect to Chau Doc. We also took a boat trip to explore Tra Su Forest. Our Mekong Photo Tour was not completed without visiting Cham Village; a muslim community in Chau Doc City.
Here are a few behind the scene that I shot along the trip. Hope you enjoy it.
First day at a noodle factory in Can Tho:
Day 2: Visited Nga Nam floating market. It’s a smaller market but more tradition with small sampans.
Day 3 of our Mekong Photo Tour: Visiting Chau Doc and exploring Tra Su forest.
Our Mekong Photo Tour ended in Chau Doc and after that, we got him back to Ho Chi Minh City and dropped him at his hotel.
